Is your heart failing? Learn. Act. Live.
This May – we celebrate the Heart Failure Awareness Month, a month long advocacy dedicated to increasing public awareness and understanding of heart failure – its symptoms, prevention, and management.
Heart failure is a chronic, progressive condition in which the heart is unable to effectively pump blood to meet the body’s needs.
Throughout May, the Cardiovascular Institute of Cardinal Santos Medical Center will launch various programs to raise awareness through lay forums and educational campaigns aimed at promoting early diagnosis and lifestyle changes that can improve quality of life.
Living with heart failure can feel overwhelming—but patients don’t have to face it alone. Heart failure support group will also be provided and where kindness, connection, and shared strength can help lighten the journey.
